Stratos 2400

Standing just 130 mm (5.1 in) above the counter, the Stratos™ 2400 series is for retailers whose associates are seated while they work. Each model provides five-sided, 360-degree bioptic scanning that increases productivity in demanding, high-volume environments where poor quality and high-density barcodes are the norm.

If your checkout staff is normally seated during their shift, then the vertical height of your barcode scanning solution is particularly important. Too tall and it can block the cashier’s view of and ability to interact with customers.

That’s why we designed the Stratos 2400 series. Each model in the series stands just 130 mm (5.1 in) above the counter, so your cashiers can enjoy a clear line of sight.

We also designed the series for high performance, flexibility, and maximum return on your investment.

  • Five-sided, 360-degree scanning increases productivity in high-volume barcode scanning.
  • Only bioptic device to offer pre-aligned optical scanning modules and independent scanning planes that maximize uptime and maintain productivity.
  • Aggressive scan performance on high density and poor quality barcodes minimizes the need for manual keying.
  • Also excels at scanning GS1 DataBar™ codes, ensuring compliance with sunrise initiatives.
  • Flip-up weigh bar (single or three-sided options) allow your cashiers to accurately weigh oversized produce, reducing shrink loss.
  • Lets you deploy a single scanner platform across multiple store formats around the world, including stores with 353 mm (13.9 in), 399 mm (15.7 in), and 508 mm (20 in) scanner footprints.
  • Maximizes ROI with analytical tools for tracking, managing and improving checkout productivity and efficiency.
